December 2024 - Orlando, FL
What a weekend in Orlando! Our performance Keeshonden were strutting their stuff in the agility, rally and obedience rings. So much to be proud of…
In the AKC Agility Invitational rings, Jean Munger and Lyra had 4 out of 4 clean rounds coming out as Top Agility Keeshond. They were in the top 5th of all the 16” dogs falling in 26th place. Lydia and Lark came in 42nd with 3 clear rounds and Stacey Smid Alexander came in 62th with 2 clear rounds. All our Keeshonden were in the top half of all the 16” competitors.
In the Rally Invitational, Marion Crain and Fresca did not disappoint. They were Top Keeshond, 1st in the non-sporting group and top 20 overall.
Over in the Obedience Invitational, Beth Strick and Ernie were on fire. Beth reports, “He placed 3rd in novice out of 114 entered dogs and is the winner of the high scoring breed medallion!!! Such a little rockstar.”
Performance Keeshonden are flying under the radar all over the country all year long showing the talent, smarts, athleticism and potential of the breed. It’s truly is “the most wonderful time of the year” when our shining performance stars represent all Keeshonden at the AKC Invitational. Thank you to Beth and Ernie, Marion and Fresca, Jean and Lyra, Lydia and Lark, Stacey and Spirit, Laura and Tifton (who had to pull because of injury). You made us all proud!
